Personal Shopping Service

London Heathrow Personal Shopping Service

London Heathrow Airport is what I considered the ultimate luxury shopping heaven. The prices are about 17% less than they are in central London, and the goods are already tax free with no paperwork to fill if you are traveling outside of the EU. Luxury brands such as Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Burberry, Prada and Christian Dior are just among the few that are located in terminals two through five. Terminal five has the most collective brands and the boutiques are generally larger. However, not all boutiques will have exactly what you are looking for in stock. It is best to phone the boutiques before your travel date as most of the stores will allow you to reserve items 24-48 hours before your departure. Enter the Heathrow personal shopper service. The service is complimentary and you can book a personal shopper service through Heathrow’s website. You need to book the personal shopper at least 48 hours before your departure date and the assigned personal shopper will contact you within 24-48 hours after you submitted the form online with his or her contact information. All of the personal shoppers have a work number. I find it most useful if you add the number to your WhatsApp account. They can reserve items for you, provide you with the prices, and also inform you of the most updated stock availability. Best of all, they can help you transfer in between terminals if the items that you are looking for are not within your departure terminal. Traveling between terminals with a personal shopper allows you to go through the back door elevators which helps shorten the travel time. I have used the personal shopper service several times thus far and overall I find the experience very pleasant. I highly recommend the service for any travelers who are interested in shopping at the London Heathrow Airport.

  1. That's pretty cool that the 250 pound limit isn't enforced. I can imagine not wanting anything you reserve and end up walking away with nothing.

    1. Yes, they put in the spending amount to avoid people abusing the personal shopper service. But for the most part, shoppers are happy to spend money at Heathrow. There is not reason not to use this wonderful service.
